Having a Special Birthday Party at McDonald's

You surely heard about, but chances are you don’t know exactly what to expect from McDonalds Birthday Parties. If you are not familiar yet with planning a birthday party at McDonalds, as information is still hard to find, we simply try to fill this gap.

There are several reasons why McDonalds Birthday Parties are popular among kids, and their parents:

• Still one of the cheapest ways to have a birthday party. It may be even cheaper than a party at home! Prices vary, based on food packages. This may include all Happy Meals, ice cream, the party favors and balloons.
• Easy to setup. A McDonald’s employee will act as your party attendant, serve the party and cleanup after. You do nothing but watch after the kids as they play.
• There is a McDonalds Restaurant at almost every corner, about a quarter of them with Play Places, where kids can play and have fun on soft playgrounds.
• Kids from one year old to 12 can enjoy such party. They already know about and love Ronald McDonald the clown, and the toys coming with the Happy Meals. All popular food for kids is on place: cheeseburgers or chicken nuggets, salad, ice cream and cake, orange juice or soda as drinks.

At least two or three weeks in advance, locate a McDonalds Restaurant in your area. There were 300+ McDonalds restaurants nationwide.

You have several options:

• McDonalds restaurants with Playland or Play Place, that host McDonalds birthday parties upon reservation of their private party room. This is the best place to have your birthday party. For some local operators, the McDonalds birthday packages are also advertised on the web, and they may offer more than the “standard” package.
• McDonalds restaurants with Playland or Play Place, but no separate party room. They may not regularly host birthday parties, but you can still come over with no reservation, occupy the tables around the soft play area and have a nice party.
• McDonalds restaurants with no play area, but with birthday parties, in a private room. Kids can still have fun, your McDonalds hostess can bring the entertainment and children will enjoy the flavor of a McDonalds birthday party at their favorite restaurant.

Try to visit in advance the McDonalds restaurant and the party room, and make sure the soft area is safe and parking available. Ask if they will have enough variety of toys for the Happy Meals on the planned date.

McDonald's Birthday Party

If the McDonalds restaurant officially hosts birthday parties, reserve the private party room at least two-three weeks in advance. Weekends are frequently busy and get booked faster. You’re usually required a non-refundable deposit, for some P2,000.00 to P3000.00.

You can order the birthday cake at most McDonalds with birthday parties. Your overall cost for the party will include the birthday cake and, for each child, the Happy Meal, an ice cream and a goody bag. Be ready to order various Happy Meals, because some like cheeseburgers, others chicken nuggets. Kids may get thirsty and you may be in need to order additional drinks. You’re not allowed to bring food from outside.

Kids will likely spend about half an hour in the party room before and after they play. Before, to have the lunch and enjoy the Happy Meals. And after, for the cake, to sing Happy Birthday, open the presents and receive the goody bags.

The Play Place is frequently open to the public, but in some cases they can close it off and you might have the whole place to yourself, for about an hour.

The disadvantage of an open play area is your guests will get mixed up with other kids and strangers. The benefit is you can stay as much as you want. There is no limit of time for your McDonalds birthday party, except for the party room. You have to leave this room when your time expires, because there may be other parties and a cleanup is required. In some popular restaurants, this may be a problem, at the transition from one scheduled party to another. When a party is over, kids and their parents may not leave immediately and it can get a bit cozy.

It’s your role, as a parent, to watch the kids and make sure nobody gets hurt while they play. Kids take their shoes off when they play. Just make sure they have their shoes on when they go to the washrooms, and have at least one other parent around, to accompany them.

A party attendant will serve your guests, with Happy Meals and the birthday cake. Some party attendants are also good entertainers and bring additional fun. It is however unlikely they will dress-up in Ronald McDonald the Clown, unless something like this is already advertised in the McDonalds birthday package at that specific restaurant.

First of all I want to make a simple introduction about Happy Meal. What is Happy Meal?
"Happy Meal" is a meal which is specially made for kids, sold at the fast-food chain McDonald's which is typically included with a TOY. Every month the Happy Meal change theme. Often the Happy Meal is themed to promote a current family-oriented movie like Madagascar, Ice Age etc.

In favor of the celebration of Hello Kitty and her twin sister Mimi's 35th Birthday, McDonald's is paying a tribute to this adorable cartoon character every little girl loves. Celebrate every year you’ve grown with Hello Kitty with these adorable collectibles, There are 36 designs to collect. The Hello Kitty time-line history dated 1974-2009 divided into 8 groups and these are the following,..

I'm not a collector of any Happy Meal toys but every time Mcdonald's launch a new Happy meal I did buy at lease one souvenir toy. Do you know that everytime you buy a Happy Meal 50cents of the Happy Meal price donates to Mcdonalds House of Charities? So every time you buy a happy meal toys you also helps children's in the said charity.

McDonalds Coke Float and McFloats

Ice cream soda float or Coke Float as we known is a beverage that consists of one or more scoops of ice cream in a soft drink. The tiny bubbles of air present in the soda cause the ice cream to float and are nucleation sites for the formation of large bubbles of carbon dioxide. This gives the beverage a "foamy head" similar to a beer head. In McDonalds float, they use an ice to hold the ice cream to keep the ice cream on top and not the bubbles.

Coke float is a cola-based ice cream soda made of coke, it's the main float or regular float in the menu of McDonalds Restaurant. It consists of Coca Cola Coke with lots of ice, turns of sundae and a shot of hot fudge. It comes with a two sizes 16oz. a regular float and 22oz. a monster float. Monster float was once featured as a promotional item in the movie Monster VS. Alien which also comes with McDonalds Happy Meal. Later on this year they added it into the regular menu.

Sarsi Float is a ice cream soda float made of Sarsi cola and sundae. It's no longer available in McDonalds product.

Water Melon Sprite Float is a Sprite Soda float with laddle of watermelon syrup and turns of sundae.


Icy Blue Sprite Float is a Sprite Soda float with laddle of icy blue syrup and turns of sundae. It is recently featured as a promotional item in the movie Ice Age the dawn of the dinosaurs.


Pineapple Sprite Float is a Sprite Soda float with laddle of pineapple syrup and turns of sundae. This and also Apple Sprite Float was used to advertisement the McDonalds Summer Colors of Love featuring Angel Locsin as a commercial model.

Apple Sprite Float is a Sprite Soda float with laddle of apple syrup and turns of sundae. It was featured as a promotional product of the movie Shrek.


Bubblegum Float is a Sprite Soda float with laddle of bubblegum syrup and turns of sundae. This was features in Rhian Ramos McFloats commercial together with Strawberry Float.


Strawberry Float is a Sprite Soda float with laddle of strawberry syrup and turns of sundae. This was use as a promotional product on "Jasmine Trio". The Trio consisted of a strawberry float, fries and a promotional single she recorded just for McDonald’s.

What more do we know about Hamburgers?
Hamburgers are usually a feature of fast food restaurants. There's so many different types of burgers at several restaurants but what are the differences of McDonalds Restaurant burgers? There are 11 types of burgers in McDonalds Restaurant and these are the following,..

1. Bigmac Sandwich is the biggest McDonalds sandwich consisting of 2 layers of ground beef patties, special "Mac" sauce and a thousands of Island dressing such as shredded lettuce, a couple slices of golden cheese, 2 slice of pickles, re-hydrated onions, all served on a three part sesame seed bun. This burger is one of the the world's top selling hamburger and also this is the most favorite of large men.


2. Double Quarter Pounder Sandwich is the newest burger launched at McDonalds, just like Quarter Pounder Sandwich it contains beef quarter pound patty, 2 slice of pickles, raw onion, ketchup, mustard, two slices of cheese and includes another patty of the same proportions. This is the upgrade version of Quarter Pounder Sandwich. When you eat this make sure your tummy is empty because it has 2 pcs. beef quarter pond patty that makes it full and heavy. This is the most expensive burger in McDonalds with a reasonable price.


3. Quarter Pounder Sandwich this burger comprises a beef quarter pound patty, 2 slice of pickles, raw onion, ketchup, mustard, two slices of cheese and toast sesame seed bun. This is one of the best seller burgers before Double Quarter Pounder launched at McDonalds.


4. Double Cheeseburger Sandwich was originally offered as a promotional item, and was later on added to the regular menu. Just like Cheese burger it contains ground beef patty with ketchup, mustard, a 2 slice of pickle, re-hydrated onions, on a toasted bun. Added with another patty of the same proportions and a slice of cheese.


5. Double Cheese Burger Deluxe Sandwich is the burger for vegetarian people. It all starts with 2 layer of juicy ground beef patties, add in a couple of slice cheese with shredded lettuce, and mayonnaise.


6. Cheese Burger Sandwich is hamburger containing cheese, ground beef patty with ketchup, mustard, a pickles, re-hydrated onions, on a toasted bun. It is a light meal usually purchases of the common people.


7. Cheese Burger Deluxe Sandwich same as Double Cheese Deluxe but the difference is it has only 1 patty. It contains ground beef patties, a slice of cheese with shredded lettuce, and mayonnaise. Among the other burgers this is my most favorite not only because i love veggies its also enough to full the capacity of my tummy. :D


8. Burger McDo Sandwich is the regular burger, the cheapest and most affordable burger of McDonalds Restaurant. It consists of ground beef patty with special mcdo sauce.


9. Mc Chicken Sandwich is a chicken sandwich, made from 100% white meat chicken, mayonnaise, and shredded lettuce, on a toasted sesame seed bun. It still remains one of the biggest sellers, just behind the Big Mac, and it is usually purchased of the elderly.


10. Fillet-O-Fish Sandwich is the burger made with fish, consist of white fish fillet with tartar sauce and a half slice of cheese, on a steamed bun. Fish sandwich is the best alternatives when you don't want to go meat plus it is low cholesterol and good for a diet.


11. Crispy Chicken Burger a mildly spicy crispy chicken sandwich with mayonnaise. It belongs to 50 McSavers Meal Promo.


NOW, which McDonalds Burgers do you want to crave? While writing this blog it makes me want to eat burgers that's why last night I ate Crispy Chicken Burger,... hhmmm,... Yummy,..!!!!! =b

Mcdonalds Ronald and the Gang with McNuggets Buddies

Do you know that Mcdonald has a fantasy world called "McDonaldland"? which was formerly used in marketing for McDonald's, in Jolibee they have this called "Jolly Town" but in McDonalds it's called "McDonaldland" but so sad this was not use in the Philippine advertisements that's why most of us Filipinos are not familiar with the Mcdonalds characters.

As of now Mcdonalds Restaurant have a four main characters namely Ronald McDonald, Grimace, Hamburglar, and Birdie.

Ronald Mcdonald is the primary icon of Mcdonald's character, he is a fun-loving clown with yellow baggy pants, red-striped turtleneck, and big red shoes that's about 29 inches long. Ronald McDonald can speak 21 languages and he is an international star, recognized by more than 96% of American children. He is the Mcdonalds character who always greeted you aside from the guard when you are entering at any Mcdonalds Restaurant.

Grimace is big purple blob, he is sweet and friendly and always asking questions. They call him Grimace, because he's so curious, and he's always asking Ronald -- his best friend -- to explain how things work. Grimace represents the desserts. Among the characters Grimace is the most gullible and my most favorite.

Hamburglar is sneaky (but cute!) little guy that can make all kinds of McDonaldland food disappear... into his pockets! He's especially fond of hamburgers! He was a thief that was dressed in a black-and-white hooped shirt and pants, a black cape, a wide-brimmed hat, and red gloves whose primary object of theft was hamburgers. He is the character who represents the burgers.

Birdie the early bird was the first identifiably female character that represents the Breakfast. She is a yellow bird wearing a pink jumpsuit and flight cap and scarf.

McNuggets Buddies are consist of six fellow which color Red, Skyblue, Yellow, Green, Blue and Orange that represents the restaurant's "Chicken McNuggets" the menu items that mainly appealed to kids. However Mcdonalds didn't make a Mcnuggets mascot because this character is really small.

Just like McNuggets Buddies they also didn't make a Ronald Mcdonald mascot because Ronald is a clown, instead they replace it with Kid Mcdo a mascot that represents Ronald Mcdonald. Well I really like a clown Ronald in my Party but you know preparing a clown than mascot in the party is kinda hard and more works, and aside from that the person who always portrays as Ronald is an American guy. Kid Mcdo the alternative version of Ronald is also cute mascot and always loved by kids. Do you know how tall each character is? hmmm,.. It's defend on the person who's wearing their mascot is,.. ehehe^^,
