Do you still remember the Coca Cola glass that I mentioned in my recent blog? Finally the McDonald's launch the Coca Cola glass! The Coca Cola Glass is now comes with a 6 different colors of glasses which are Charcoal, Lime, Purple, Pink, Blue and Green.
You can avail this Coca Cola glasses by adding 25 pesos in any kinds of McDonalds Value Meal except from McSavers 50 Value Meal (because mcsavers 50 is also a promo product). This promo is now on going in any McDonald's Store nationwide until November 30, 2009.

McHappy Day Fun Run!

This November, McDonald's is celebrating McHAPPY DAY!

McHappy Day, formerly known as World's Children's Day, is a global fundraising effort to support various children's causes. In the Philippines, McDonald's aims to raise funds for the RONALD McDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES (RMHC) and its two flagship programs: BRIGHT MINDS READ (BMR), a beginning reading program for public elementary schools and BAHAY BULILIT, a program that builds day care centers in low-income communities.

One of the special McHappy Day fundraising initiatives is the McHAPPY DAY FUN RUN. McDonald's is inviting adults and kids alike to join and run for a good cause!

Already included in the P350.00 registration fee are the official McHappy Day race bib, route map and meal stub.

Three races are scheduled on that day: 3K, 5K and 10K races-- all in support of McHappy Day and RMHC. There will be a total of 18 winners (each race level will have 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each for male and female categories).

Register now and join the first ever McHappy Day Fun Run! It's time to run, have fun, and give the gift of education to Filipino children.

McDonalds will be having this Fun Run on November 30, 2009 at McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. The registration is now on going up until November 25, 2009. If you want to join you can download the Application Form in McDonald's Philippines website or visit the McDonald's Store near your place.

I really want to join in this Fun Run but November 30 is a holiday, it's a double pay in my work so I guess I will choose my work instead. hehe^^, I leave this matter to my sister since she's the more interested in joining here maybe she will bring my nieces in this event. Hope to join in this Fun Run next year and I hope they will held this every year.

McDonalds Halloween Party

Do you already have a plans in what to do this coming Halloween? or do you prefer to stay home with kids or love ones watching scary movies? why don't you enjoy the Halloween by attending some Halloween activities, events, or parties?. Every year McDonalds is throwing a Halloween Party for kids in every McDonalds store here in the Philippines. Last year me and my nephew are came in this Halloween party. The entrance price is so cheap its just Php150.00 includes the foods and lots of freebies.
The venue is cold, designed by creepy Halloween materials with dim light and spooky sounds. The programs are great and so much fun with Halloween games and raffles but the best part is the Halloween Costume Contest. My nephew wore a Power Ranger costume, it's so funny because Power Ranger is not for Halloween that's why we didn't won and get the price. The one who wear a gauze like a Mummy has won as the best Halloween Costume. This year we are not sure if we were going to attend because we do not know yet which McDonald store we were going to. If you want to attend a Halloween party just go to the Mcdonalds near your place, it defends on the store when do they schedule their Halloween Party. All I can assure you is its so much fun having a Halloween Party in McDonalds, so make an unforgettable Halloween Party experience at McDonalds.

McDonalds Ghost Story

Halloween is coming and of course the story about ghosts and many scary things are in. Since my blog is all about McDonalds I want to share this little story from one of a McDonalds crew. Years ago there is a McDonalds manager who died in the front of McDonalds store here in the Philippines. It happened in a night when the manager is about to go home, when he goes out to the store someone tried to hold-up him when he gave his money the suspect stabbed him and run away. The crews who saw the incident tried to chased the suspect but they didn't caught him, until now the suspect hasn't been found. The McDonalds crew who share this story to me, has a 3rd eye, she told me that the manager is still in that store patrolling around. That manager doesn't received a justice that's why he can't cross over, he can't leave this world. Aside from the manager there is another ghost too, and the other one is in the McDonalds store attic (I don't want to mention which McDonalds store is) I also heard the rumors that in the other McDonalds store there were also ghost wandering. I don't want to scare the McDonalds crews and costumer I just only want to share this story because it's Halloween hehe^^,. I don't think they need to be scared because in this world they are also part of it so having a ghost anywhere even in your house is just a normal thing. Always remember we are not alone, they are here, they are with us, always,... maybe now, maybe there is someone's behind you or sitting next to you sharing McDonalds meal with you. McDonald's Hamburger now serves in Value Meal

Hello guys? whatsup??? I have been into the McDonald's this morning to have a breakfast, I'm expecting for a Coca Cola glass because they told me earlier that they will launch it on October 2 but they didn't. I felt sad that they hold the launching of the Coca Glass but that's OK we can wait aren't we? hehe. Anyway the thing that surprise me this morning is their new burger meal "McDonald's Hamburger Value Meal". I'm surprise when the crew suggest me this new Hamburger value meal, because before this hamburger serves only in ala cart and not in the value meal. And now they already serves the Hamburger in a value meal with fries and coke just like the other Burger value meal.

This hamburger consist of ground beef patty with ketchup, mustard, a pickles, re-hydrated onions, on a toasted bun.

Having a Special Birthday Party at McDonald's

You surely heard about, but chances are you don’t know exactly what to expect from McDonalds Birthday Parties. If you are not familiar yet with planning a birthday party at McDonalds, as information is still hard to find, we simply try to fill this gap.

There are several reasons why McDonalds Birthday Parties are popular among kids, and their parents:

• Still one of the cheapest ways to have a birthday party. It may be even cheaper than a party at home! Prices vary, based on food packages. This may include all Happy Meals, ice cream, the party favors and balloons.
• Easy to setup. A McDonald’s employee will act as your party attendant, serve the party and cleanup after. You do nothing but watch after the kids as they play.
• There is a McDonalds Restaurant at almost every corner, about a quarter of them with Play Places, where kids can play and have fun on soft playgrounds.
• Kids from one year old to 12 can enjoy such party. They already know about and love Ronald McDonald the clown, and the toys coming with the Happy Meals. All popular food for kids is on place: cheeseburgers or chicken nuggets, salad, ice cream and cake, orange juice or soda as drinks.

At least two or three weeks in advance, locate a McDonalds Restaurant in your area. There were 300+ McDonalds restaurants nationwide.

You have several options:

• McDonalds restaurants with Playland or Play Place, that host McDonalds birthday parties upon reservation of their private party room. This is the best place to have your birthday party. For some local operators, the McDonalds birthday packages are also advertised on the web, and they may offer more than the “standard” package.
• McDonalds restaurants with Playland or Play Place, but no separate party room. They may not regularly host birthday parties, but you can still come over with no reservation, occupy the tables around the soft play area and have a nice party.
• McDonalds restaurants with no play area, but with birthday parties, in a private room. Kids can still have fun, your McDonalds hostess can bring the entertainment and children will enjoy the flavor of a McDonalds birthday party at their favorite restaurant.

Try to visit in advance the McDonalds restaurant and the party room, and make sure the soft area is safe and parking available. Ask if they will have enough variety of toys for the Happy Meals on the planned date.

McDonald's Birthday Party

If the McDonalds restaurant officially hosts birthday parties, reserve the private party room at least two-three weeks in advance. Weekends are frequently busy and get booked faster. You’re usually required a non-refundable deposit, for some P2,000.00 to P3000.00.

You can order the birthday cake at most McDonalds with birthday parties. Your overall cost for the party will include the birthday cake and, for each child, the Happy Meal, an ice cream and a goody bag. Be ready to order various Happy Meals, because some like cheeseburgers, others chicken nuggets. Kids may get thirsty and you may be in need to order additional drinks. You’re not allowed to bring food from outside.

Kids will likely spend about half an hour in the party room before and after they play. Before, to have the lunch and enjoy the Happy Meals. And after, for the cake, to sing Happy Birthday, open the presents and receive the goody bags.

The Play Place is frequently open to the public, but in some cases they can close it off and you might have the whole place to yourself, for about an hour.

McDonalds Play Place

The disadvantage of an open play area is your guests will get mixed up with other kids and strangers. The benefit is you can stay as much as you want. There is no limit of time for your McDonalds birthday party, except for the party room. You have to leave this room when your time expires, because there may be other parties and a cleanup is required. In some popular restaurants, this may be a problem, at the transition from one scheduled party to another. When a party is over, kids and their parents may not leave immediately and it can get a bit cozy.

It’s your role, as a parent, to watch the kids and make sure nobody gets hurt while they play. Kids take their shoes off when they play. Just make sure they have their shoes on when they go to the washrooms, and have at least one other parent around, to accompany them.

A party attendant will serve your guests, with Happy Meals and the birthday cake. Some party attendants are also good entertainers and bring additional fun. It is however unlikely they will dress-up in Ronald McDonald the Clown, unless something like this is already advertised in the McDonalds birthday package at that specific restaurant.
